Join our team as an Electronics Test Engineer
We are searching for an Electronics Test Engineer to join our R&D team to work with miniaturized electronics designs. Daily work includes electrical lab test setup development and device testing in close collaboration with our electronics, mechanical and software engineers to develop highly integrated, ultra-low power products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test plans and test setups for FPCAs, sensors, power components and assembled devices to find design weaknesses and improve reliability during development and verification phases. For example, designing setups for characterization of eye tracker components and dynamic lens driving circuits would be part of your tasks.
- Provide technical insights from test data for fellow engineers/teams to improve product quality. Documentation of your findings.
- Resolve electrical issues and support embedded software testing during product development, testing and verification phases.
- Hands-on work with building prototypes, test setups, using lab measurement equipment and supporting other teams with electrical stuff. We believe strongly at Pixieray that minimum bureaucracy, low hierarchy and hands-on attitude can lead to faster to market products with better quality.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in electronics testing; interesting areas could be wireless, low power, and/or medical devices testing. Understanding on good engineering documentation practices and relevant regulations will be a key to this position.
- Professional measurement tools like oscilloscope, DMM, PSU and environmental chambers are familiar to you.
- Enthusiasm for implementing best testing practices and automation to improve testing speed and quality.
- Suitable education for this position is in field of Electronics, Embedded Software or Product Testing (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
