Join our team as a Lead Electronics Engineer!

In this role, you’ll create leading edge miniaturized designs that help people’s lives. Daily work includes close collaboration with our mechanical, software, and algorithm engineers to develop highly integrated, ultra-low power products. You’ll have a chance to leave your imprint into our growing team and impact on how our product will take shape from early concepts, through prototypes, into real mass manufacturing. Leading your own team is a possibility if that is of your interest, but we also welcome those who just want to create.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced integrated electronics. In this role you will master the full electronics product life cycle from design to hand out for production and support regulative approvals.
• Provide technical insights from electronics to fellow engineers and teams. Collaborate with other teams to meet industrial design, product, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
• Plan and conduct architectural planning, product testing, documentation, troubleshooting and risk analysis, as good engineering principles guide your work. Resolve electrical issues during product development and testing phases.
• Hands-on work with eCAD, building prototypes and supporting other teams with electrical stuff. We believe strongly at Pixieray that minimum bureaucracy, low hierarchy and hands-on attitude can lead to faster to market products with better quality.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in designing wireless, low power, and/or medical devices for products released to the market. Knowledge in analog electronics is considered as an advantage.
• Experience in working with mechanical, software, manufacturing or algorithm engineers will help you to blend in quickly.
• Professional acronyms like FPCA, eCAD, PD, Li-Ion, AFE or Buck are natural to you, but you can also talk with full sentences with those who are not experts with electronics.
• Mentality suitable for a professional startup environment – we enjoy working with people who like to take initiative to innovate and also know how to get things done. Asking for support from others and willingness to study new topics is valued.
• Enthusiasm for implementing the latest technologies, innovating solutions, and building fast prototypes that evolve into products. For this you’ll need strong background in electronics design and product development, perhaps focused on mobile/embedded/wearable/IC products.
