Lead Electronics Engineer
We’re on a mission to transform how the world sees. Our IXI Adaptive Eyewear is redefining vision correction, integrating cutting-edge technology into eyewear like never before. With dynamic lenses, intelligent frames, and real-time gaze recognition, our eyeglasses deliver naturally sharp vision wherever you look.
Our team of experts in optics, medical device engineering, consumer electronics, and design is united by a common goal: to break the limits of traditional eyewear and change the way glasses are made.
Join our team as a Lead Electronics Engineer
In this role, you’ll design cutting-edge miniaturized technologies that will revolutionize how people see the world. You will work closely with our mechanical, software, and algorithm engineers to develop ultra-low power, highly integrated products that push the boundaries of what’s possible. You’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact on every stage of our product’s evolution—from early concepts to prototypes and eventually mass production. If you're ready to lead, there’s potential to guide your own team—but if you’re focused on creating, we welcome that energy too.
This is a chance to leave your mark on something extraordinary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop groundbreaking integrated electronics: Take charge of the entire product life cycle, from concept to production handoff, ensuring every detail is engineered to perfection while balancing regulatory approvals.
- Be the go-to technical expert: Provide invaluable insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the highest standards in industrial design, product functionality, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing excellence.
- Drive architectural innovation and testing: Lead the charge in product architecture planning, testing, troubleshooting, and risk analysis, applying top-tier engineering principles to ensure flawless performance at every stage of development.
- Get hands-on with cutting-edge tools: Use eCAD to build prototypes, troubleshoot, and support teams with electrical expertise. We foster a culture of minimal bureaucracy and low hierarchy, enabling faster market delivery and better-quality products through a hands-on, proactive approach.
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience designing wireless, low-power, and/or medical devices that have been successfully brought to market. Knowledge of analog electronics is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with mechanical, software, manufacturing, or algorithm engineers will help you integrate quickly and effectively into our team.
- You’re comfortable with technical terms like FPCA, eCAD, PD, Li-Ion, AFE, and Buck, but can also explain them clearly to non-experts.
- A mindset suited for a fast-paced startup environment—you're proactive, ready to innovate, and know how to make things happen. We value those who seek support when needed and are eager to learn new skills.
- A passion for implementing cutting-edge technologies, developing innovative solutions, and quickly prototyping ideas that transform into products. You’ll bring a solid background in electronics design and product development, particularly in mobile, embedded, wearable, or IC products.
What we offer:
- Play a vital role at startup that’s set to redefine the entire eyewear market.
- Collaborate with a world-class, international team of 40+ professionals who value creativity, openness, and teamwork.
- Thrive in a dynamic startup environment with minimal bureaucracy, flexible work arrangements, and a culture that encourages independence and creativity.
- Enjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including extended healthcare, lunch, sports, recreation, massage, and commuting allowances.
- Unlock opportunities for professional growth and career development in a fast-moving, evolving industry.
