As a deep tech company, our IT function plays a critical role in enabling seamless operations by supporting innovation and product development. We’re looking for a hands-on IT professional to take ownership of our IT function as a one-person internal team.

Join our team as an IT Manager!

As the IT Manager at Pixieray, you will oversee all internal IT operations and services, providing essential support to our team. You will manage everything from IT infrastructure and systems security to user support and budget management, ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the IT function in a dynamic, fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of managing IT infrastructure and services, including networks, hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
• Provide hands-on IT support to the Pixieray team, resolving issues, onboarding new users, and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Manage security and information security protocols, ensuring systems and data are protected.
• Oversee the IT budget, making strategic decisions on IT investments to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Implement and maintain IT policies, processes, and best practices to support the company’s growth.
• Evaluate and integrate new IT tools and technologies to enhance productivity and security.
• Ensure the availability and performance of all IT services, working proactively to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.

We would like you to have: 

• Experience as an IT Manager or in a similar hands-on IT role, ideally within a startup or tech environment.
• Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure management, including networks, cloud services, hardware, and software.
• Solid experience in IT security and information security management, with the ability to implement and maintain secure systems.
• Experience managing IT budgets and selecting cost-effective technology solutions.
• Understanding and experience of information security standards such as ISO27001 and SOC2
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the IT function.
